I love your sig tornadog!! I had about 1/2 of those cards, but I don't upgrade quite that quickly. I I'm pretty sure the CL that is in my server right now is the 5446.

One thing isn't clear to me on this. Once you install linux on the PS3, you still get the regular PS3 OS right?

yes, you can switch between the two...by typing boot-game-os at the command line.

I tried last night and almost messed up. I used a ps2 keyboard with a ps2 to usb adapter(bad idea!!!). After booting from the Gentoo cd, it kept saying it couldnt detect the keyboard. So I was kinda stuck. I couldnt boot into the game OS without the keyboard. Finally had to reset to factory defaults to get it running. Today I will try with a real usb keyboard from work.

I assume you can go back to a normal PS3 if you decide later that you don't want linux on it?

yes thats what I had to do last night, removed the linux partition. But I did a format which caused me to lose all the stuff I downloaded like GT HD and Motorstorm demo

finally got a wii. In case you guys didnt notice, Amazon had some for sale today abt an hour back. I got one and just to be sure, I got 1-day shipping for $3.99. Anyway it says it will be delivered tomorrow, so lets see. I also ordered an xtra pair of wii-mote and nanchuck and the wario ware game.

Now my big dilemma is do I need all 3 console systems, and even if I do will I get any time to play.
