Default dell 30" LCD with Opensuse 10.2 64bit on 6600GT

Hi all,

I can't seem to get my nice shiny new 30" LCD screen working in linux. Here's my err log. The driver can't seem to "validate" the mode. I've had a good look around but can't seem to find any solutions. I've tried the latest NVIDIA driver including the beta. Help!

Thanks in advance,

Paul

(--) NVIDIA(0): DELL 3007WFP (DFP-0): Internal Single Link TMDS

You need to get a card that supports Dual Link TMDS.
The really new and expensive ones do, but it is not really dependent on the chip generation. There are 6600 cards on the market that have Dual Link, and even 5xxx cards.
