Default Sr. OEM Technical Support Engineer


NVIDIA is looking for a Linux enthusiast to provide software technical support to our OEM customers with emphasis on supporting our Linux drivers. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with OEMs, software engineers and program managers to reproduce customer reported issues, assist in root cause determination, and verify reported defects are fixed.

  • Power user of various Linux versions or distributions, preferably RedHat or SuSe.
  • Experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting Linux on various PC configurations.
  • Solid understanding of PCs at the component level.
  • Solaris experience is a plus.
  • Good communication skills are essential.
  • Proven project leadership experience is desired.
  • Shell scripting in Linux is a plus.
  • 4+ years customer support or software test experience is a plus.
  • Bachelors Degree or Equivalent is preferred.
