Default Weird dmesg

I just got this today in my dmesg:

But I can find no indication of what it actually means. Is it some kind of error, or is the driver just feeling chatty? I don't check the dmesg on this computer particularly often, so I don't know if it has occurred in the past. I'm running version 9746 of the driver on a FC6 2.6.19-1.2895 kernel, if it matters.

Those Xids are a symptom of a problem somewhere. We'd need to know how to reproduce whatever triggered them to comment further (plus an nvidia-bug-report.log). If you aren't noticing any obvious problems associated with them, then you could just ignore them for now.

Actually, they weren't triggered by anything at all. The machine in question had no user at the console at all since it was turned on (I was just using it over SSH for RPM building (since it is the only machine I have running an RPM-based system), but I cannot imagine that having any effect on the graphics card, right?). The X server was (obviously) running with a user having been auto-logged-in by gdm, but there was no actual input on it, and no processes running in the X session apart from the usual GNOME stuff, so it should have been perfectly idle. If it makes any difference, the X server is running AIGLX with the compiz stuff.

In fact, the machine is experiencing some instability (random lockups). At first, I thought it was due to ACPI, but that turned out not to be the case. Hopefully this will turn out to be the cause.

It's turned off right now, though, and I don't have the opportunity to turn it on. I'll have to come back with the nvidia-bug-report when I get it back online.

It sounds like you're stating that the Xids were triggered while the system was sitting idle? The only things that I can suggest at this point are:
0) Verify that you're using the latest motherboard BIOS
1) Test whether the problem reproduces without using the Composite extension in your X configuration
2) Test whether the problem reproduces if you set NvAGP to 0 in xorg.conf

thanks,
Lonni

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to reproduce the messages at all since. Is there a way to know what they mean?
