Default e6750 or q6600 - what would you do?

Hey folks - I recently received an ES e6750 (e6700 2.67 that runs at 1333 FSB) and I currently have an ES Q6600 B0 (unlocked rev - woot!) paired with an Ultra 120, which is a real bugger to deinstall.

I'm currently running 7x24 at 2926 (11x266) since I get some instability at 3300 (11x300). I can game at 3300 but the system needs a couple attempts whenever I reboot.

What would you do in my shoes? Keep the quad or play with the e6750?

Specs in my sig. Thanks!

Quad it more future proofing!! I would pick up a E6700 over a E6750, why, higher multier all core 2 can do 333MHz FSB. This prospective is from an overclocker BTW. With the lower multi you will reach the FSB limitation far sooner. As they are both ES they are unlock anyway so Quad still.

Sell the Quad core and Use the 6750.

A. Do you really use any apps that benefit with the quadcore?
B. Quadcore Prices are High now so sales value will be good.
C. "Futureproofing" is not cost effective in the tech world
D. Sounds like you get a good number of ES chips, so why even worry about the future when you will probably end up with a native quadcore when Intel releases them.
