Keep your quad, you should be fine for 2007, upgrade again when the 45nm quads come out.
EDIT Didn't know you already got both. Well use them both for a while see which you like more and sell the the other one.

Oh Keep the quad and give me the Core 6750, it will be one less thing for me to upgrade after falking out for a new board, memory etc

Heh no kidding.... though I'm used to it due to my ES connections.
 If I were a server kind of guy, the stuff I'd have would make you cry but since I'm a simple gamer, my choices are limited. I've had this Kentsfield since November, to give you an idea of the lead time I typically have access to. For the record, I do not sell ES chips. Discreet trades are possible but I never sell them.
