Okay, I finally saw Memento this weekend. I really liked it but I think I'm going to have to watch it again since I still have some uncertainity as to what really happened.

There never is a true answer... many theories...

The picture seemed okay (didn't look noisy/grainy/etc.) but there didn't seem to be a lot of depth to it. Is that how you felt about it?
Yes, that is how I felt about it as well. Still looked great in many scenes of the movie but because the majority of the movie took place in nature scnenic areas, it should have had more 'depth' to it. On the bright side, just ordered 'Tomb Raider' and 'Aeon Flux' today on Amazon for about. Even though Aeon Flux was not that great a movie IMO, Charlize Theron is killer in there $16

I think you ended up not liking the Planet of the Apes remake simply because it was a horible movie. That's my guess anyways.

^^ Well I actually did enjoy the movie aside from the HORRIBLE ending Tim Burton planted into it. Originally he ended the movie that way as he was planning to run a series of sequels to it but because of the such bad ratings it had, a 2nd part was never made, thus leaving the remake with a cliffhanger ending

I noticed that whenever I see a commercial on TV for a DVD coming out, it always says, out now on DVD and blu ray disc. From a pure marketing standpoint, seems to me like Blu Ray is winning. Of course I could just be blowing smoke out my ass. Musty, dank smoke.

You may have some musty smoke coming out of your ass but I believe you are correct. Blu Ray is indeed winning from the marketing standpoint. In real sales numbers I wouldn't be so sure.

Picked up Rocky Balboa, Eragon and The Transporter 2 today during lunch. My friends had told me about the Transporter but I just got around to picking it up and watching it. I thought it was good so I went ahead and picked up Transporter 2 today.

^^ My GF just picked up rocky Balboa for me today at her job. I have yet to see Casino Royale so I have some good movies I still need to watch either throughout the week or on my weekend off: Casino Royale, Rocky Balboa, and Underworld Evolution which I've still yet to see! Also still awaiting my copies of Tom Raider and Aeon Flux, which should bring my total Blu Ray count to 24

Trasnporter 1 & 2 are both good movies from what I hear, that main actor does a good job. But unfortunately his last movie 'Crank' was a bomber

Picked up March of the Penguins and Chicken Little today.

BTW 1337_Like_That, I thought the Transporter 2 was good but not nearly as good as the first one. IMO, it was a little too much over the top in the 2nd one.

Picked up The Pursuit of Happyness and Happy Feet today. Didn't find the National Geographic: Relentless Enemies.
