Ah finally, got the Spider-Man 3 Blu-ray sampler. Bought Deja Vu on Blu-ray to go along with it.

OWA...While I don't have a HD player yet...I'm really curious about Dragons Lair (I spent SO MUCH MONEY on that in the Arcades/Pizza Places!) I'd like to know how it turns out on BR...

Picked up Dirty Dancing, Catch and Release and Revenge. I couldn't find Donnie Brasco (locally). Also, got Dragon's Lair Monday. Not a movie though.

Hmm, Dragon Lair is okay I guess. It wasn't quite as fun as I remembered at the arcade. I'm still playing around with the settings so I'll give more details later. Also, I think there is a HD PC version if you want to give it a whirl.
Picked up The Fountain, Stomp the Yard, Donnie Brasco, and Eight Below today. Looks like next week is "the release week". Lots of titles to choose from (in both formats). |

Picked up Pirates of the Carribean 1 & 2 today myself. Going go out and rent Apocalypto first as I've read mixed reviews about it everywhere. Let us know how the movie is Owa

I really liked Apocalypto and it looks/sounds great. It's very brutal though (i.e. violent). It's subtitled but it doesn't take long to get use to it and then you don't even notice it (i.e. it's not distracting after a few minutes).
I watched both Pirates of the Carribean yesterday as well. They both looked/sounded great. Disney did a great job with these. I still liked the first Pirates better but after watching them again, the 2nd one is pretty good as well. The special effects in it are really nice especially with Davy Jones' crew, ship, etc. I'm only about mid-way through Closer (Apocalypto was the only movie I hadn't seen before). |

Add Mission Impossible I & II to my list. Wish I would have picked up the boxed set since I think that would have been cheaper. Also picked up Freedom Writers. Haven't seen that one yet.
