hallo,
just installed Kernel 2.6.20-rc6 & nvidia-driver-9746 and i getting this: **WARNING** I2C adapter driver [NVIDIA i2c adapter 0 at 1:00.0] forgot to specify physical device; fix it! **WARNING** I2C adapter driver [NVIDIA i2c adapter 1 at 1:00.0] forgot to specify physical device; fix it! **WARNING** I2C adapter driver [NVIDIA i2c adapter 2 at 1:00.0] forgot to specify physical device; fix it! must i get worried ?

This is a known issue which will be resolved in a future NVIDIA driver release. Unless you're explicitly doing something with i2c, you shouldn't be concerned about those warnings.

Will this also be fixed in nvidia legacy dirvers 96XX ?

@TPG: yes; 1.0-71xx doesn't expose a Linux/i2c interface and isn't affected.

I know that 1.0-71xx are not affected by that.
Anyways i think it would be to hard find 1.0-71xx PLF drivers so i'll stick to the latest legacy drivers specified for my gear(1.0-96XX) ![]()
