You can get the same blurring effect on your pc by using a LCD panel with a slow refresh rate.

I was being sarcastic about the blur, I cant stand the extra bloom in flatout 2 and hdr that consoles have pretty much ruined there use in enhancing a game world. Also the over use of blur is very annoying i cant wait for this fad to go away or at least not be overused in the wrong way. But how would EA hide their crappy NFS textures work without the annoying blur, that would make you believe you were going blind instead of actually going fast. The only good flatout game was the 1st one the second had the worst controls ever.
