I see minimal performance gains for that price.

Tiki, my G.Skill runs at 1000mhz @ 4-4-4-5 1T stock.

The Ballistix are some of the best in the business and overclock really well, also. I've seen DDR2 667 Crucial overclocked stable to 1000mhz 4-4-4-5 1T. My best friend has a set.

Thanks man I will take these things into consideration. I will do some more research. But I must say that my experience with PC-9136 was awesome when I had it.

You people are utterly insane. Come on man $450 for memory? For a minimal performance gain? I bet if I was to have that memory instead of the one I had now, I wouldn't notice a single difference. And I paid less than $200 for my 2GB of PC6400 5-5-5-12. Face it, it's a waste of money.

Slow down partner. I have the money. I have had this RAM before. And yes there is actually I nice difference (besides bragging rights of course). Prior to purchasing this RAM last time I had the same RAM you have now.

MustangSVT...what you said is true about the price. But I am having a hard time forgetting how much I loved this RAM before.

Not people around where I live. I asked my local Corsair wholesale agent about this type of RAM, and they told me due to lack of demand they didn't have any in stock, and if I wanted to buy them they would place an order for me but it would take a month at least for the shipment to arrive.
