Sheesh, I dunno.... I could rent a gaming hooker for 600 and finish the game whilst getting my p3n15 sucked off and still have enough cash left over to buy a huge stream of console games.
There is also Quake wars, Supreme commander etc.

it just gets too costly to try and keep a gaming rig up to snuff. I am sort of glad that I switched back to consoles, because I don't have this depressing urge to upgrade my gfx card every 3 months because of a new game, or play with drivers ad nauseum. Speaking of drivers, how is Vista drivers for those 8800 going ?

That's exactly why I switched over to consoles and moved to a laptop as my PC. It's a lot more difficult to upgrade those.
