AnandTech has an article on a new HD benchmark and uses it on Nvidia and AMD cards. Unfortunately, neither did very well. The benchmark/test program seems pretty cool though.

I've been saying it all along. It doesn't matter how much power you throw at HD. That's why PS3's and X360's aren't great players.
Dedicated devices are always better, they're purpose built. The XA2 with its SO chip aces all tests.
