Does anyone know how good the Eliminator is ?

Also, I have a few questions if anyone can help me...

How noisy is the Freezone/Eliminiator ?

If the unit should suddenly go faulty, would the CPU just burn out - or is there some sort of safety feature built into the unit ? (stupid question i know - more likely the pc will just switch off..

Let me know guys !

It is going to cost me a fortune to get this to me in Cape Town, South Africa - but if it is worth it I will do it !

Phase beats it by a long shot, but phase usually requires a case mod and is $800.

The Asetek LS definitely cools better but is a much noisier affair. The compressor is not silent. The Coolit works fine, but, it seems that they may be a bit of a hit or miss. Some have had good results while others do not cool very good at all. I wonder if there is a QA issue.

Hi all - first post here.. lol. I just got a freezone last night and took my whole pc apart to try and get it in there and for the life of me I could not find a way to get it installed in this TJ09.. the large bar on the side would block the top of the cooler so it would not sit flush on the back 120mm hole.. if I changed the 120mm bracket around so there was more room at the top, the bottom would hit my PWM sinks.. crappy. anyone have this issue? I can't mount it in the top 120mm holes because any way I slice it, it's going to hit either my memory, or hit the mobo tray corner support arm.. I pretty much gave up last night and was going to just put it up for sale.. but I thought I would try and see if others have found a solution..

One thing I just thought of, I could mount it on the back of the 120mm fan which would space the cooler back far enough to clear the big aluminum brace.. but then it will be very close to being right over the cooler post anchors.. but it might just work that way.. I think I might have to gut a fan out tho.. because even with the "flat" screws those screw heads stick up kinda far.. anyways..

So what have others done to get theirs into the TJ09? any pics?

well, I think I am going to sell my freezone.. I am just sick of tearing my machine apart.. over the last month I have like 10 times.. or more.. and even if I got it working with the gutted 120mm fan "spacer" idea, it would still be sitting right on top of my PWM sinks, quite litterally.. I think if I want better cpu temps I'll get an Exos II or something.. while the freezone seems like a very nice product, when it's working right, they made it too big to fit in all cases, by just a hair.. they really should have kept the size at 120mm on each side and then it would have been no problem.. fairly large oversight on their part imo. very frustrating because I was really looking forward to using this thing..
