Default F.E.A.R. Extraction Point update???

I just bought FEAR Extraction point and I cant believe that it wont support the native resolution of my 1680x1050 Dell monitor. The original FEAR wouldnt either until I uploaded the patch. Does anyone know if there is a patch for EP? I cant find one.

Afaik they haven't released it yet. You know you can manually change it in your user folder/ settings? The only bad thing doing it this way is if you enter the display tab it resets to 640x480 and you have to do it again.

Yeah, no patch. You'll need to edit the cfg like in the old days

np, click start/programs/sierra/shortcut to user directory. Open settings.cfg with notepad, you'll see this...

Change screen height and screen width to your desired rez, save and enjoy.

Just remember if you go to display after for gamma or vsync, it'll reset to 640x480, then you just do this again.

It runs on Vista for me now, much lower performance than xp obviously, but it's unplayable because of shadow corruption. The shadows look like major artifacting from an overheated card or bad ram. Scared me bad when I saw it, I thought "What did it do to my CaRDS???!

LOL.

So is this a problem with the game or NVIDIA drivers?
