Default mortal kombat 1-3 and physics

anyways, i'm sure a lot of people have thought about this, but notice how mortal kombat really isn't very violent, and how whenever someone's uppercutted it's unrealistic b/c it's the same blood spurt pattern everytime. well just like physx causes the explosions in graw to be different each time, why don't they make the next mk use physx and have bloody physics (i.e. different blood spurt pattern each time) and have close up body wounds, and clothes shred and fly. and also have hw physics accellerated particles from projectiles.

And I don't think there are any plans on making a MK4.....I mean MK3 came out in what? 1995?

They won't do that because making a fighting game for the PC is financial suicide.

thanks for answering so politely. yes mk3 was in 1995, the best year for games ever. mk 4 came out in 97. it hit the pc in 98 and then in y2k to present it was/is best played on a voodoo5, w/ true fsaa and 32 bit color forced for glide. i wish drivers today were as good as 3dfx's were.

I think they will have some interesting things in store with the next gen Mortal Kombat rebirth.

Well, XBOX360, PS3 and Wii have capablities to do PhysX so maybe it'll be better if they release next-gen MK for consoles instead of PC. Fighting games don't sell much on PC.

I was disappointed with few MK titles, it seems more unrealistic and cartoon-alike. It's been mentioned Midway's in work with next-gen MK but nothing much about it at this moment.

I hope we'll see MK1 and 2 in XBLA sometime.

Mk2 will be hitting the PSN soon, I still think that it was the best of the series. (so far)
