Since the 8800 GTS series are quite the overclocker id like to sum what STABLE overclocks we have achieved WITHOUT Volt-Modding.
Required info is Card BRAND and MODEL CORE SPEED SHADERS SPEED MEM SPEED Since most brands overclock only the core and the mem speeds id like to see if anyone saw any difference by overclocking the shaders. I for once didnt perform a benchmark prior to OCing them so i cant tell for sure. So here i go first XFX 8800GTS 320 600mhz core 1500mhz Shaders 1900mhz Mem

I'm not sure how to even check my shader clocks or overclock them. Here's what I have;
eVGA 8800GTS 640MB KO ACS3 650mhz Core ? Shaders 1900mhz Memory I could probably boost the Core more, but I don't think I'd see any real difference without going to like 650 or something and I don't think it would like that much. How do I check the Shaders? EDIT: Updated! |

You can change the shaders using Nvibitor and then doing a bios flash.
Install Nvibitor, go to tools - read bios - read bios into Nvibitor then you can see all clocks and speeds and modify them if you want to. After that its all about using Nvflash.

Memory on my card didn't agree with the C2D system I just sold but it really seems to like this new AMD set up @ stock CPU settings.
I used ATI tool to find max settings EVGA 640MB GPU: I aborted the test at 680mhz...don't know how much farther it would have went but 15 minutes with no artifacts. Shader clock: didn't check Memory: aborted at 950mhz....15 minutes with no artifacts. Fan set at 80%: idle temp 51c / load temp 69c

Update:
With flashing to the latest Rev.04 BIOS i have edited and flashed to: 600MHz Clock Core 1500MHz shader clock 1.9GHz on the memory 51c-52c idle & 65c-70c max load! Playing BF2142 @ 1920x1440 res with AA x 8 and every other setting maxed out, in a full 64 player titan server with 65-85+fps
