Thats sweet, being able to move the water around.. very cool!!!
Hehe or place little sailboats in the water and watch them plummet to their doom ![]() Would be cool if you could modifiy the terrain to make new channels/paths for the water to follow.

Did not seem to matter what res I was running or the AA amount. Ran about the same. I would guess 20-40fps. Wish Fraps worked.
Also looked at cpu usage. One core was at 30% while the other was at 50%. Def fun to play with. Really slows down flying with the bugs through the water though.

I've found if you mess with your C:\Program Files\NVIDIA Corporation\NVIDIA Demos\Cascades\bin args.txt file you can change around a few things to make things looks a little better.
Mainly: 4 // number of AA samples. WARNING: screenshots don't work w/AA. 1.0 // supersampling factor (1=none; 2 = rendered image is double-sized Big hit) 0 //-0.1 // mipmap bias for rock textures 1 // UBER_QUALITY (-1=lesser parts, 0=launch, 1=ultra/later) (for shaders - turns on all bells & whistles, cranks all quality knobs) false // vines enabled? (true/false) (if false, they will be permanently shut off!) true // cull floaters? false // start with bugs? (true/false) true // rainbows enabled? (true/false) false // display NV logo in corner? (true/false) Going to Uber_Quality does look better but it does take a semi big hit. I couldn't get the vines to grow and I got a small boost from turning the bugs off. It's also nice to be ablel to hide the NV logo. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Some how I got the vines to grow. At first they weren’t working so I toggled them back off to false. Ran it a few times and switched it back on to true and they just started growing. They look pretty cool growing all over the surface of the rock. There kinda short and I've only seen one color so far. I'm going to keep em on.

Can you choose this as your screensaver at all? That's one thing I've missed from the other nVidia demos. Such a shame if you can't
Surely it can't be that hard for nVidia to add this to their demos? Please ![]()
