The thing about the Hori stick is that it will only work with PS3 games. You can't use it for PS2 fighting games which kind of limits its use for now.

It makes it a lot easier to pull off the moves. Tekken is good with a stick as well since most moves require pressing buttons simultaneously.

I went by Best Buy today to pick this up but they won't have it until tomorrow.
 Checked CompUSA also (since it's right next door to Best Buy) but they didn't have it today either. I thought Tuesday was release day. |

Yea usually you have to tack on an extra day to those dates, EB especially. Stupid sticks still aren't in stock anywhere.

Yeah that 1 day add-on to the regular date is always annoying. Always forget about it until the day or two before I have to pick it up.
But yeah, first thing after class tommorrow I'm getting mine too. Can't wait.

IGN also reviewed the Hori Fighting Stick 3. That's the stick that is available in the US and can be had for 50-60 dollars. They gave it an 8.0. However the most disappointing thing about this stick is that it does not work with PS2 games.....I have to mention that none of the other sticks for PS3 work with PS2 fighters either, the HRAP 3 or the Sega Stick. Hopefully there will be a fix for this soon.

Yeah I was just about to post that. I wonder how it compares to the Hori stick. And whatever happened to the recalled VF stick.
I'm really thinking about getting a stick earlier than I said I would. Probably treat myself to one for my birthday.  Having that "arcade" feel seems too fun to pass up for a few weeks, and of course the fact that they are better for control than regular controllers w/ d-pads.
