GeoForce 7600 GS performance & random hang

Hi,
I recently installed a new ASUS EN 7600 GS (PCIE) in my Shuttle XPC
ST20G5 (AMD64 4000+, 1GB, FC6(2.6.19-1.2911), nvidia-1.0.9746-7).

Beryl and OpelGL seems to work BUT the machine randomly hangs
and I'm curious about the performance.

Random Hang:
When I actively work on the system it doesn't seem to freeze. However when the system is idle for a couple of hours (overnight) it just freezes. Not log entries or errors found. Even under heavy 3D load, when running SPECviewperf/x11perf tests, the system says up.

Performance:
I'm also curious about performance, anyone here with a comparable system?
My Dell M70 (Intel M 2.0GHZ, Nvidia Quadro FX Go1400) outperforms the XPC.
