Default Primary monitor position +1600 problem

Hi I am using the 9746 drivers with kubuntu running a kernel upgraded to 2.6.20. I have a 1600X1200 crt on the left and a 1920X1200 LCD on the right. I want my LCD to be my primary monitor. The problem I am having is that some things when used in full screen mode will open on the LCD with the program's left edge starting 1/2 across the screen and the right part of the content will be off the right side of the screen. It pretty much seems to be starting at +1600 pixels from the left side of the screen which is what I have defined in my config. Not all programs exibit this behavior. MythTV opens full screen without a problem. However my amarok visualizations or unreal tournament 2004 suffer from this. When I want to play unreal I disable the CRT and my LCD assumes position +0 instead of +1600 and then is displays fine. Is there any way to fix this without having to have my primary monitor to the left of the CRT at position +0?

Please let me know if I need to bmit or generate any logs. I am at work right now and can't do that till I get home. Thanks for any help.
