The GeForce 7600 is fully supported in 1.0-9746.

Thanks,

Works fine here (mines just a Leadtek).

Leadtek's work but not the XFX's, XFX says it's a Nvidia driver problem. In fact the issue lies with the card despite being AGP reporting as a PCI-Express

The 7600 is a PCIe chip. The agp variant has a hsi (high speed interconnect) chip to connect it to the agp bus. That's the chip just above the slot. The presence of the hsi chip makes almost all nvidia card coolers useless.

Deanjo,
If you're experiencing what you believe to be a driver bug, and would like assistance, I'd suggest reading the sticky posts, and following their instructions.

Thanks,
Lonni

OK after some more digging here is what I have found.

Flashing the bios to a Leadtek 7600GT AGP yielded the same results so I flashed back to my original.

In root the everything works wonderfully. Full acceleration and all. GLXgears (I know it's not meant to be a benchmarking app but it does give good indication about things going nutty) I get about 10,000 fps using the default window size.

When logged in as a user account and run glxgears the frame rate drops to a pathetic 65-70 fps.

This happens with both the drivers in the suse repo on nvidia's site and using the installer for the NVIDIA 97.46 x64 drivers.

Will update this post soon with logs.
