I play PC games, and have a 360 as well. I'm also considering buying a PS3 several months down the road.

Nintendo kicks ass. Whipping out my Wii is more fun than a barrel of monkeys.

If anyone has the strognest 2007 lineup it's clearly PS3. Wii already had their bigest title, Zelda. I'm sorry, but I just don't see any of those remotely harming MGS4 sales.

I think you have the difference between "lineup" and "one game" a bit confused

Just because the Wii already had their "biggest title" according to you, doesn't mean that their lineup for an entire year is screwed and done. Just the same that the fact PS3 has one big game "MGS4" comming out this year doesn't automatically launch them into the category for best lineup

A lineup is a heck of a lot more than one game. Looking at the big picture like you're supposed to do with a lineup, the PS3 doesn't have a huge amount of exclusives or big name games comming to it this year. I don't know of any special lineup that the X360 (may it burn in hell) or the Wii have either, but I sure know that there is nothing in the PS3s lineup that makes it stand out as being "clearly the strognest" of the consoles right now

Devil May Cry 4, Heavenly Sword , and Lair are also confirmed for this year.
I think we will be in more of a position to come back to this thread after GDC

Actually 360 has strongest 2007 lineup since most games' also on 360 and XBLA is great. Wii will be doing well on its own.

It could be really suck if MGS4 end up going to 360, that goes for Devil May Cry 4 (it's rumors atm). No way I'm going to shell out $600 just for one game and weak PSN (it'll improve later on and I don't have PSP for PSX downloads). (I don't care about Blu-ray right now or any other exclusives so far). 2008 may be good time for me to buy PS3.

We're still arguing single games though. The biggest complaint that everyone had about the X360 (the piece of crap it is) was that it only had a small selection of games at its launch. It only had a few good titles. Then it starts getting games like Dead Rising and Gears of War and people still said "well, a few one hit wonders don't make it the bestest". The same goes for the PS3- anyone who buys a PS3 for its lineup isn't buying it for 3 games in an entire year- I for one get bored with a game after a week, I'd go crazy if I had to spread 1 game over 4 months

I'm not arguing that the PS3 might not have some god games coming out, but I find it completely immature and irresponsible to claim that the PS3's lineup is "CLEARLY" the best for the entire year of 2007

"not too shabby" is exactly the point- it's not perfect, and it's not a clear winner. You can penalize PS3 and 360 for sharing games because it makes their lineup less special. And when all we're doing here is talking about lineups, then it becomes important

Once again, all the consoles have some nice games coming out this year- my only complaint is against the claim that the PS3 has the strongest. I honestly don't know who has the strongest. But I sure know that none of them is "clearly" the strongest, especially when that claim is only backed up with a few exclusives and popular titles

I kind of agree again honestly because I think as we move down the line that the known franchises will lose their shine and it will be things from out in left field that sneak in and steal the show.
I think that will be the case on all systems.

I don't think anything in the Wii's lineup for this year can match either MGS4 or Halo 3, unless you think another Metroid Prime game with the crazy remote is exciting.
Or you could be like me and not give a rats ass about FPSers. I'm more into RPGs and action adventure games like Zelda.
