ok minor correction.

I'm not a huge fan of games where you basically point guns at people and shoot things. I'm more of a sword person.

I have always purchased every system. This time I got the xbox 360 and will get the ps3 once the games start coming of age.BUT I WILL NEVER own any **** that nintendo makes they suck ass! Im the official Wii hater. ****ing Gay console!

Don't worry, the Wii is sold out everywhere, so you couldn't get one even if you wanted.

It is incredible... in Twilight Princess you know the Temple Guardian under water boss? There is a boss somewhat similar in SotC, but without the claw shot... it is just an amazing game.

I loved shadow of the colossus. You can tell that in Zelda: TP, Nintendo were influenced by that game quite a bit with the boss fights. Both ace games.

My problem with the Wii right now are there are too many games that are basically Mario Party/Wario Ware-esque in that they are just a ton of minigames... they can be fun at times, but it just feels like way too many of them, which makes me feel even more like the Wii remote is just a gimmick.

And honestly even though I have been playing Zelda TP a lot lately, I would have prefered a a regular controller... not being able to charge the spin attack sucks and sometimes fighting is just annoying (trying to shield bash and instead doing a spin attack)... the only part where I enjoyed the Wii remote more than the controller was fishing.

Does anyone else find it amusing that some in this thread are comparing Nintendo's first-party-only lineup to the entire lineup of other consoles? Not to mention completely ignoring the more "adult" games on the list because that doesn't fit their fantasy-world in which Nintendo only has games for kids.

I think we can all agree Zelda_fan was trolling with the thread title and all of you who rose to the bait are troll master baiters (mostly because I wanted to use that bad pun).

Metroid is hardly kiddie, Project HAMMER, Disaster: Day of Crisis, the aforementioned Manhunt 2, and Sadness are all games that I can think of off the top of my head that are not directed toward kids. And that's just a few from this thread and a couple of the very "mature" games that I've heard of. I'm sure that there are more.
