9xx driver causes interlace flicker
My tv-out picture has been crisp and beautiful, that is until I recently installed the 9xx legacy driver in order to get AIGLX/compiz working. I now get horrible screen flicker, caused (as others have mentioned) by interlacing problems. Now, my question is, is this a driver bug or is there a configuration setting I can change to fix this? Before anyone says, I have already tried the "flicker-fixer" control via the Nvidia GUI. This has an effect on the display but it doesn't bring it back to the full glory of pre 9xx driver.
So, please, can anyone help me? I really want to show off the amazing effects of AIGLX!
