Vanguard... what an improvement - Page 6

I been thinking about getting this game for awhile now, but what's the main way to level? I tried WoW and hated the quest-based leveling when you start your first character. As weird as it may sound, I actually enjoyed the grinding in EQ, heck I even enjoyed EQOA alot.

Solo - Non-Quest - Possible, even fun some times, but slow
Solo - Quest - Much faster than non-quest, but not as fast as grouping
Group - Quest - Faster than Solo, but can talk a while depending on how many morons are in your group.
Group - Dungeon Crawl - Fastest (helps if quests included) and fun if you find a good group with not too many deaths...

I went from 26 to 28 in 2 days by running Trengal's Keep (TK) - One day I was just crawling, then next day I did TK 1-5 (still need 6 damn it)...

no. This game actually challenges you.

The dungeons are open vs. being instanced so you will be in there with other groups running around.

hey i finally have enough for a cloak. cloaks are like the capes with the hoods on them correct?

wanna make sure before i buy from the broker

some of the cloaks have hoods. Some don't. Its a gamble.

also, opinions on EQ2 v VG and why which is better from someone who has played both a lot?
