That's completely irrelevant in this case because the replacement console was bad out of the box.

For the price of a high-end PC, I can buy all three current consoles, none of which will be obsolete in 12 months.

Same here. I don't know why you would put any console on carpet though, that just seems like a bad idea to me. I'd be worried about static and dustbunnies/lint from the floor.

So when do we get to hear ACT III? I was actually digging the story, even though it is a tragedy.

(halflifeČ is a passed story personnaly. i had it with my 9800pro few month after bought it. ) but right , i presumle there are game on these gaming console. that's not what i want to tell. but these game are often not well polished , and too , not really interesting from a gameplay pov.
but it's all in MS and sony dev studio hand. if they can port total annihilation , age of empire3 , spore, galactic civilization simcity5 , why not do it now ?

RIGHT, it the only point you are right. but i think HDCP stuff is as bull**** as on PC. your PS3 is HDCP but if you plug an analogique screen , you are ****ed. same story

So how is PC gaming any cheaper when you add games in O.o?

last time I checked they ere all about the same price.

You addmitted it was just your opinion, and all of this is just that. But have nothing constructive to say about consoles, then the PC forums are that way ->

Trust me, I'm trying, but I don't hold out much hope

My current plan is to sell it broken on e-bay. Make maybe 200 on the console, 50 on the harddrive, 20 or so on the controller, and I'll only be out about 100, then I'll buy a new one eventually in a month or two- with a nice warrenty too and I'll make sure the manufacter date is at least after the second half of 2006...

Simple. Most people who play these types of games already have done so with their PCs. As such, there's no business case to be made for taking the time to do a port.

En ingles por favor.

Why? Is it because gaming a console is simply a matter of opening the box, powering it on, and inserting a game disc? I don't know about you, but I sure as heck enjoy that a lot more than spending hours trying to find out why my PC games don't work properly.

People disagree with you and you have a tantrum, then start with the insults.

I can see why the world is out to get you, if I cared that much I would be too.

I've seen pictures of people putting their 360 on fuzzy carpet, on top of nice big expensive home speakers, shoved tighly between things on shelves, etc.. It is quite amazing to see what people will do.

Otherwise I've had my 360 both horizontal and vertical, and the dvd-drive is significantly quieter when you have the unit horizontal. As I also have a first batch manufactured unit, I can tell you the darn thing gets really bloody hot and needs a well ventilated space to be in. I hope Microsoft has learned to better watch the quality of their outsourced productions.

It ends the same way the Rosencrantz & Guildenstern play does, or at least we can hope.
