Default New Gigabyte 680i mobo review

I know how much some of you guys despise HardOCP but they have a review of the new Gigabyte 680i mobo (GIGABYTE GA-965P-DS3).

they really need to start making longer motherboard will more expansion slots

once you fill that board with two G80s and that nvidia PPU in the middle, you get no, or maybe 1 PCI if you get lucky.

thats just no good

The review you linked to is for the 965 board. They haven't reviewed the 680i board yet, but the pics of it are on the front page. You've got the right picture, but the wrong review.

Maybe it will take after their 965 board. If so, just put it in a closed case and go gaming.

10x SATA, 4x GigE, egads...

MSI's board looks interesting as well. It has 4x x16 slots, integrated X-Fi, etc.

The MSI specs look good. The SB AudigySE on the P4N and K8N I have used was a step in the right direction for a good on-board sound solution, IMO. The X-Fi should be another step up.
