I thought Portal was cool when I tried the demo, but never bothered to purchase the game and it kind of fell out of mind....
Now Valve is offering it for FREE, I'm not passing it up. Just log into your Steam account or go here:

Let me know if that works as I am in the same boat. My son has just started playing this on my account. Guess it is a great time to make his own Steam account and pick this one up for his own account.
