Is anyone able to overide the 4xFSAA limit with CP in this game? Damn ATI drivers seem to be craptastic as usual and don't do squat for this game.

I don't know on ATI drivers, but you can set the AA to 2x and use the enhance feature on Nvidia drivers. FYI, if you're trying to get rid of the jaggies in the center of the road, nothing will fix that. I've tried turning on 16xMSAA and it still didn't see to fix it. There are just a few things like that I couldn't get to go away. |

What's everyones opinion about Hardcore mode in this game?
I think its fantastic and has a very decent sim feel to it. It's not 100% proper like say LFS or GTR but it's darn good compared to most racers. I just wanna know who's the idiot that decided that no SP races are to be avail when using Hardcore mode?!!! ![]() I do usually still play mostly in Normal mode due to the fact that I use a gamepad and H mode becomes rather taxing of my attention and abilities in longer rides. Not to mention at speed, H mode is crazy touchy and hard.

The cars don't feel heavy. I'm not sure why. The FFB prevents hardcore mode from feeling more realistic. And the lack of any damage also hurts but lots of driving games have that problem.

Hardcore mode is quite nice with cars that have enough suspension travel. Cars like the S7 behave like they are driving on ice though and due to the quite bumpy roads (or rampy roads) drivablity is rather limited.

Define 'many'. I usually have 1 or 2 max guys in rural areas. In high traffic areas 5 can quickly pop up on the radar. Also obviously depends on time of day you play.
Last night I was doing some racing laps out in the suburbs on my own made up 1 mile street circuit. It's a cool course with tons of blind sharp turns, steep hills, etc. 10 min later I've got 4 other guys following me in their supercars fishtailing and over shooting trying to keep up with my sweet handling Jaguar XKR Stage 0. Noobs thinking HP power is always better. ![]()
