Default Re: Socket AM2/AM2+/AM3 BIOS Question/Answer Thread

If I'd like to undervolt, how low can I go with a Phenom II?

...

And if I do so, what's a general safe underclock?

...

Is there any reason to change PCIE frequency?

...

PLL1 & PLL2 Spread Spectrum settings... what does this accomplish these days? I recall playing with PLL back in my kt266a days, but I've since forgotten about what these settings apply to.

...

Processor-NB Multiplier Adjustment: what's the stock speed, and let's say if I OC the FSB, then do I need to adjust this multiplier to keep it close to the stock speed? I'm just gonna OC via cpu multiplier, so I can leave this alone, right?

...

Can anyone explain any of the following?

NB-SB Link ASPM
NP NB-SB VC1 Traffic Support
Isochronous Flow-Control Mode?
HT Link Tristate
UnitID Clumping
2X LCLK Mode

...
