OS: Scientific Linux 4.4 x86 (a Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4.x derivative, like CentOS, etc).
Kernel: 2.6.9-42.0.10.EL X.Org version: 6.8.2 Driver: 9746 for GNU/Linux Graphics card: GeForce 7300 GT AGP 8x, on an AGP 4x slot. CPU: Pentium III 1 GHz When installing 9746 from atrpms repository, when I am trying to select "OpenGL/GLX Information" option on the left, X.Org gets killed and restarted. Also when I am trying to run Google Earth, the same happens. When I installed 9746 natively, after downloading it from NVIDIA site, I was getting a kernel panic. Driver 8776 works OK, although it does not support GeForce 7300 GT directly AFAIK! Also Google Earth works OK with this (with texture sharpening enabled and "high quality" OpenGL settings). I do not think it is a system issue, rather it is a driver issue. Any suggestions? |

I couldn't find anything relevant to that link. May you elaborate further?
