Default X Loading screen issue

I have the Nvidia drivers installed (9746) and using Component out to my HDTV. They work good. I only have one small problem when Fedora Core 6 is loading X the screen that the bar grows is not displayed right. All i see is vertial lines of various colors. Its ussually not a problem but if something hangs I cant see what service it is.

The odd thing is sometimes it does show! not very often but sometimes. If i connect a computer monitor up to VGA it works just fine. I am thinking the problem is that the Nvidia drivers are not loaded before the X window is started. Is there a way to force the loading of the drivers before anything graphics load up?
