Angry I'm sick of my temps!!!!!!!!

I will take care of that...

Just ordered

Swiftech MCW6500 TEC
Meanwell 320w PSU for TEC
Lian Li G70 Case
Thermochill 120.3 Radiator
Swiftech MCP655 pump
Swiftech MCRES Reservoir
10ft Tygon Tubing

My current pump just died, but even when it was working my temps sucked horribly. Over 60c on load. I was going to go phase... but I decided against it at the last minute.

Definitely you will get better temps with phase, but I wanted something that could fit entirely into the case. My original plan was to try to cram a phase into a PC75, but after much research, it looks like its going to be harder than planned.

I am taking the baby steps towards phase I am somewhat concerned with this TEC and a Quad Core though... might be an issue. Don't play on going Quad Core until 45nm's though.

Yea, that is the system that Jinu makes, I like the look of the PC75/G7 cases... oh well, hope this does good, at around 1.6v hoping for 20-30c. Lower voltage will get the temps into the negative range.

It'll be interesting to see how effective that TEC block is. I've seen a few people who have ordered it but no testing results yet. I just don't know that much about them, to be honest, but from the little I've read they seem to work really well?

But a new pump and that Thermochill will definitely help a lot, for starters. And the G70's are really nice, as I well know.

Good luck, man!

Thanks man, yes, the TEC is effective, until you start dumping alot of voltage, they are only good up to a certain heat dump, then they start to become uneffective...

for instance, see this pic

QFT. It looks like it weighs a lot though, but that is probably a good thing. I think everyone is going to be watching to see how it performs. How much is that setup going to run you?
