After all these problems my new rig with an Opty185 is having, maybe I should ditch that rig and go Core2. That Xeon is awesome looking.

Great oc dude, I remember (about 3 years ago) think that getting a 400Mhz oc on my s754 2800 was awesome- know you guys are pulling in 1.2GHz+ oc's without a sweat. Just crazy.

I read they are tested more strenuosly than the 6x00 series Core2s. now that they have begun to trickle out on the lga775 platform the differences are sparse. (before they were limited by memory bandwidth restrictions of different platform)
