Default nvidiafb + nvidia driver?

Hey guys, just a quick question I know that the nvidiafb is not compatible with the nvidia driver and thats cool because I use the vesafb-tng patch but I have always like and preferred the nvidiafb and was wondering if they will ever be able to co-exsist with the 3d driver in later driver releases. Let me know if you have heard anything

Thanks.
