If this is true, Intel seems really hell-bent on driving AMD into the ground. That kind of pricing could be the final stake through the heart unless the K8L whoops some major bootay at a rock-bottom price.

Saw those yesterday, and they don't seem quite right, because those prices are just ridiculous. Sure hope they turn out to be true though!

All the more reason for me to get an E6320 when the prices drop. Cheap upgrade to get into the 775 platform, and then when all of the new high-tech games are out and making use of quad cores, I can pick one up next year for dirt cheap.

If this isn't true though... oh well. It doesn't really effect the next step in my upgrade plan.

Hopefully by Q3 we'll have a game or two that will make me want a quad.
