Default Re: Good MMORPG to start for n00bs ?

Naaa...I can see why VG would be a let down. What released wasn't exactly as close to Brad's "VISION". Had it been closer, it probably would have ended up very near what you were probably expecting. That being said, I'm still enjoying the game and play quite a bit (30 Sorc is my main).

As to the inane speak of alot of WoW players, I have to agree with Xion. I don't think his characterization of people that talk like this being "immature" or "young" is far off base. Sure there are a few "adults" who speak like this, but most of time, it's the youngens. He's right about VG as well. With Vanguard there definetly arn't a bunch of 12 year olds running around speaking "1337". The 12 year olds that are in game (I've met a few) acted very mature for thier age (to the point where I thought they were adults).

There is nothing wrong with WoW, however it isn't my type of game. I'd much rather play EQ2, EQ1, DOAC or Vanguard over WoW any day...But we are all entitled to our opinions..

On Any Given Sunday!
