Default RHEL4 Cannot detect SATA Disk(nForce 405)

Platform: Acer Power M8 gForce6100+nForce405 AMDX2 3800 MB

When I were installing RedHat RHEL4, that installation showed me "No available Disk....".

I download "NFORCE-Linux-x86-1.21.zip" and followed instrutions to install RHEL4, resulted to same fail.

Who can help me
(1) How to correctly use "NFORCE-Linux-x86-1.21.zip";
./floppy gives me many files, but RHEL installation
asks me "Driver Disk Image"
(2) Any other possibility, such as BIOS settings, causes
the installation fail ?

Thank you for your coming help. Thank you very much.

I got the same issue with you.
All what I can do is to use IDE disc. It works well.

RHEL4 is fairly old. Only uses a 2.6.9 kernel. Try with distro that have a newer kernel.
