Ive overclocked my 8800GTS core and memory using nTune 5.0 and it seems to run fine in games, but ive noticed when i reboot, it defaults back to normal. When I overclock, i test the new frequency as well as apply it, so it should stick, right?
What else do i need to do to have it set to a permanent overclock? |

I use Rivatuner for that. Haven't played with nTune's overclocking too much, so I can't tell you how to make it stick.

Yeah i get the same thing, nTune's overclocking dosent save for me either, with win XP pro and Rivatuner it saves fine though!.... ive hardly messeed with nTune's overclocking feature either to be honest because Rivatuner 2.0 final does a great job... although i dont think it works with vista!

Yeah but rivatuner doesn't have all of the other nifty overclocking features for my nforce 4 motherboard. I tried searching for this too before i posted and I didn't find anything.
Why even release a program like nTune if the overclocks are just going to reset after every reboot. I'm still assuming I'm doing something wrong because that would just be asinine. |

No problem! Make sure you download the newest version, it supports the newer driver versions (if you have them). Cha Cha Now Y'all
