^^iron99 has a nice list of mods but I'd consider many of them drastically changing the gameplay. Use the mods to fix what you don't like about vanilla Stalker is my view.

Task question. I'm suppose to find a family rifle. I'm at the area and searched all over, including going high up and looking on top of things. Its not in the lockers in this 'window room' either. WTF? See 2 pics.

Any advice as to why my weight mod isn't working properly? Well it works, but any saved games with that mod won't load.

Just a guess but maybe the mod only works starting from a brand new game. My vehicle mod is like that; gotta start from New game with mod already installed. <shrug>

Does the mod support whatever version you are patched to? I wound up having to?
Try this Severian http://stalker.filefront.com/news/ST..._Manager;36576

AFAIK it gives indication to what's broken.

I've noticed some people are using the Parallax mod with float32. How is this acheived as when I tried to install them they conflicted. I did find a post where the author of the parallax mod explained that you should install the his mod first then back up a few files, install float32 over the top then replace the files with the ones you backed up. When I tried this I got an error saying my video card doesn't support pixel shaders 1.1 or something to that effect. I have a 8800GTX by the way. It would be nice to run these together as I do like the dark shadows you get with float32, but I also like the sense of depth you get with the POM mod.

Also when I had the Parallax mod installed, it seemed to chug at bit when facing fires such as camp fires. Is this something that everyone gets.

Thanks in advance

I´m using float32 along Weather Overhauled and Sky4CE SkyGRAPHICS Mod v1.5 which i believe is the Parallax mod that you area talking about.
I installed Sky4CE SkyGRAPHICS Mod first then installed Weather, which contains float and stalker skyes. I just copied the files to the gamedata folder.
Just place the files in the respective folders and avoid overwriting them.
Runs ok, looks stunning, screens later
