Still is not in any stores here around Sarasota Florida.

The funny thing is I know a few of the Ukrainians who work at GSC and I still don't have a copy.

Hmm, mine bombs at the step where it says it's sync'ing the client. It sits there a while and then BSOD. I'm using the 97.92s. I noticed that with the dynamic lighting on, it still defaulted to having AA on and I thought I read AA isn't supposed to work in that case, right? So, could that be the issue? I guess that's the next thing I'll try. Disabling the AA that it defaults to.

Edit: Disabling AA in the game didn't help. Still got a BSOD at the client sync'ing step. Guess I'll try a different driver.

I'm giving up on this game until a patch for it or new nvidia drivers are released. I have no idea which of the two is the issue but its a no go on Vista. The game runs very well at 1920 with everything maxed but I cannot save or exit to the menu. It's a random thing as I thought I had it fixed a few times but theres no fix (probably crashes 8 out of 10 times).
Also I have to say that for such a well known and highly expected game to be released two months after vista and have no official support for it sickening. $5 arcade games on Steam support vista...

I finally got the game to start by running it in a window at 1024x768. 1600x900 also worked. When I tried to go to 16x12. Another BSOD. Not sure what's going on yet but this is still with the 97.92s (under XP).

Is there a way to force AA if you turn off dynamic lighting (kind of a trade off I know, but I can't stand aliasing)?

Too bad it was supposed to be out long before Vista and was never intended for it to begin with, otherwise you might have a valid argument. Delay a game already years behind schedule to support an OS that has a almost non-existent install base (compared to xp)? Yeah...that's completely reasonable just because you're an early adopter.

P.S. Loving the game from the little I've played so far today. It's about time a game got rain right. I was more than a little shocked when it was pouring rain and I realized it wasn't raining underneath the tree I was standing by (same inside houses with giant holes in roof, only rains in where it makes sense).
