[new] Fixed crash on level "Military warehouse".

[new] Fixed NPC spawning on player's eyes. Then you are fighting "Freedom" on their base, there was NPC spawning near bridge.

[new] Decreased a-life reaction time. Now a-life will spawn new NPC more seldom. Also NPC movement speed decreased, then NPC walk on different level, then player.

The second patch will not erase your saves.

Let me preface this by saying that Stalker is a really cool game.. one of the most original I've played in a long time. But something that bothers me about the game so far is that I've already witnessed a few major bugs, and I'm only like an hour into it.

On the mission in the beginning of the game when you have to save Nimble(?), the first time I played it I could hear him calling for me and I found him in the warehouse, but there was a dead boar right on top of him and it wouldn't let me click on him. I had to start the game all over again and get back to that point.

And a friend of mine has had repeated problems with the door to the main trader at the scout camp not letting him go through after a certain ways into the game.

For a title that's been in development so long, these things should've been taken care of by now. Must we always be beta testers? Even for a game that's been in development for 5-7 years?? I don't see how they couldn't have caught these things before release.

According to oblivion-lost.de a save game converter should come out at the same time as the second patch.

The changes they are making will most likely not be compatible with saves from previous versions... BUT, they are working on a save-game conversion tool to make this less of a problem.

Yeah, it sucks that all this is necessary after all these years, but honestly, I'm glad to see them supporting the game like this. We've all seen games that get released and then never get a single patch, let alone multiple patches and save-converters to keep the players happy.
