I can't get S.T.A.L.K.E.R. to work after the patch... I can see the THQ, ASUS, and Nvidia promo screens, but then it crashes. Guess I'll reinstall w/o the patch, it worked fine before.

Have you tried this yet? The game was unplayable for me before, all you need is the first step on 64bit.

As your heading towards Freedom camp. Those beat up cabins are on the same side as freedom just before freedoms wall starts.

There's some good information here.

Hopefully something there that can help you out. Just curious, how would you feel on backing off your overclock a few hundred and retesting? I've seen that mentioned a few times, as a quick google for it will show you.

Thanks for the link. I'll dig around in there when I get home from work tonight.

I really don't think my OC is the reason... it's rock solid on orthos and other stress tests and benchmarks.

Yeah, I only got to play for about an hour last night and then I decided to put the patch on it. If it ain't broke... but I did anyway.

I had to do that same memory addressing fix for SupCom, so I will try it again with the command prompt and hopefully it will work.

It would sure be nice if they game uh... WORKED with Vista. It's not like Vista x64 is that exotic.

It's running smooth as butter for me on 64, especially with the 158.18s.

I just want them to fix that dang stuttering...
