After waiting for 4 months to finally play a PC Game again it is very hard to contain my excitement. Plus to have it displayed on my new 37" Westy.... Pure Gaming Heaven.

I'm also excited to see jAkUp's new setup which he should have on Monday.

UT3 and Crysis simply cannot be released soon enough!

I've got four PCs I could have folding but I don't want my power bill going thru the roof

To explain how excited that I am I put the most recent Striker Extreme BIOS on a floppy at work today.

I know HeavyH20 was able to get some good overclocks on his QX6700 with the Freezone. I'm obviosuly hoping for the same.

What's the difference between the Freezone CPU Cooler and the Eliminator CPU Cooler?
Cooling Capabilities:
Freezone is recommended for CPUs with total heat output of up to 175W. Higher loads can be accommodated but the result will be comparable to water cooling. The Eliminator is recommended for CPUs with a total heat output of up to 125W. The Eliminator is targeted for overclocking nearly any dual core CPU while the Freezone is more than capable of cooling the new quad core Kentsfield from Intel.

Interesting News Release:

F@H doesn't drive your bill through the roof

I've noticed a few dollars difference per month at most when I have my system folding 100% (both cores) and my notebook plugged in (both cores) as opposed to not running them at all.

You'll pay more but it's not that much more.

Right there with you on HL2, BF2, and COD2. Hopefully I'll have C&C3 soon as well.

BTW, I know how you feel right now.

When I came home from school that weekend and saw all of those parts just laying there, I was like

It was the coolest thing seeing all those components laying out. I felt like a 5 year old on christmas morning.

BTW, My current computer is my first build after all these years, and I'm loving every moment with it.

I agree, before I built my rig, I just kinda looked at all the boxes. Then I changed my pants and got to work.

From the egg. Been running about 3 weeks now. I guess I should update my sig!

4x Prime stable 3.3GHz@1.37v, mem 500MHz@4-4-4-10 2.1v. Temps in uGuru - idle 36c/max 57c. CPU is prime stable for about 30 minutes running 3.8GHz 1.49vcore but man, with 4x Prime95 and small FFT's, my PWM current is showing 130amps with uGuru! And the PWM gets pretty warm too, not to mention the cpu max temp approaches 75c! :-)

Overall, I am extremely pleased with this rig and hopefully it'll hold me for a couple of years.
