Oh, yes you are right. I forgot to use the option -- -logverbose, cause i used a wrong syntax - my fault. Sorry.
I stopped the KDM via sudo /etc/init.d/kdm stop and startet X with the -- -logverbose 6, finaly runned the nvidia-bug-report.sh. I noticed that the logfile is now longer as before. nvidia-bug-report.log |

In your bug report I see:
(II) NVIDIA(0): Validating Mode "1280x1024": (II) NVIDIA(0): 1280 x 1024 @ 60 Hz (II) NVIDIA(0): Mode Source: EDID (II) NVIDIA(0): Pixel Clock : 108.00 MHz (II) NVIDIA(0): HRes, HSyncStart : 1280, 1328 (II) NVIDIA(0): HSyncEnd, HTotal : 1440, 1688 (II) NVIDIA(0): VRes, VSyncStart : 1024, 1025 (II) NVIDIA(0): VSyncEnd, VTotal : 1028, 1066 (II) NVIDIA(0): H/V Polarity : +/+ (WW) NVIDIA(0): Mode is rejected: Mode (1280 x 1024) is too large for DFP (WW) NVIDIA(0): Native Resolution (Max: 1024 x 768). Please try adding the following options to the Device section of xorg.conf: Option "ExactModeTimingsDVI" "true" Option "ModeValidation" "NoDFPNativeResolutionCheck" thanks, Lonni |
