Where did you get it? Is it under warranty? If it is, and if you can get your money back out of it, I'd at least go with something similar to this, instead. You could get cheaper if you go custom, but this would be the "easiest" replacement solution, IMO:

Comes complete w/ green coolant which seems to suit your style.

Sorry, pal.

One of the things about liquid-cooling is you really have to make sure you go with a good, reliable pump. I'm not even sure what the Freezone uses, but this is only one of a # of occasions I've seen where it seemed like it didn't even kick on for someone after hitting the power switch.

Just called Cool IT Systems and left a voice mail. There were people there, but apparently Tech Support was busy or something.

I will for sure ask for a refund and not a replacement. And yes it is under warranty.

Not the GTX; I've seen the GT and know that it performs really well with the quads. Have you seen any comparison tests?

not yet with quads, I am thinking about buying one to try it out but I only have dual core

here it is. Looks nice, only thing is that the top is MIL spec plated aluminum.

Would be nice if it came with a backplate tho. For the price, you can't beat the GT tho, I love it

OK well CrazyPC is calling CoolIT Systems right now and they are going to setup an RMA for me. We will see how this goes.

Make your $300 or less suggestions for my new cooler please. Just like XionX2 did. I just don't know if I can handle this Freezone for Kentsfield thing anymore.

When I finally go quad at the end of this year or early next, I'll swap my Storm out for something like that. The Apogee GT and D-Tek Fuzion have proven to be the best quad blocks on the market right now. I'm sure the GTX will most likely perform on the same level.

CrazyPC has been good for me in the past. Hopefully CoolIT will also take care of their end and you'll be set.

That's bad news Mr Tiki. I hope you get it sorted out quickly in the mean time. If I were I'd just whack on the stock cooler and run stock clocks for now, maybe a Zalman.

Best of luck with the RMA.
