I'd go with air cooling. The Tuniq Tower fits the Striker (I'm using it now) and gives me better cooling that the Freezone I had. The Thermal Ultra 120 Extreme is suppose to be better than the TT, so that's another option.

I don't think the Tuniq tower is capable of cooling a QX6700 overclocked sufficiently

Me either. It's a heck of an air-cooler, but those quads put out a lot more heat that can only be tamed best by liquid or phase.

why don't you just slap the stock cooler on there and run it at stock speeds so you can use your rig in the mean time?

Yep I'm going to. I just hope I can secure a fan on the back of the case. I don't seem to remember what I did with that fan and screws......hmmmmm..

Tiki that does indeed suck. I knew it was a dead pump from your first post; this happened to me with my system when I first powered on because I forgot to plug in my pumps.

Apogee GT is not bad, GTX looks really awesome. Dtek Fuzion is dull and ugly.

When Quadcores drop in price, I am getting Aquaextreme MP-05 Pro.
According to Shamino over at VR Zone it is very good

Either way, though, I will really miss my Storm.

I'm wondering if that is what happened to my mobo then...

The same exact thing was happening with my rig. It would just randomly shut down. I went ahead and RMA'd the mobo being that I suspected it was causing the problems.

We'll find out in about a week...

Good luck with your setup Tiki, hope you can fix it soon without spending more money.
