mega man, failures

There's kind of a mega man 9, but does anyone think that the series should or will be brought back on the PS3 and in 2D just like the 1st 8?

It's been 10 years since Mega Man 8.

I think if Wily failed 9X, then I think he can fail infinite times.

After all, he never died. And he still hasn't failed as much as dracula and Dr. Robotnik, and maybe not even as much as so long gay bowser has failed.

Sadly, Dracula dies, I expect to see a game with Julius as the main character any year now. I say sadly, b/c he showed signs of humanity at the end of sotn (in one of the most memorable conversations in any game ever.)

However, as a side part of this thread, I've got 3 questions about the vania series. Magus would quite possibly know. I don't.

1. based on what alucard tells dracula at the end of sotn, why is he still regarded as evil after his humane response to what alucard told him?
( I think that it may just be that after that, it's just Julius' inherited hate for him, however, bloodlines contradicts that as does PoR.)

2. Dracula was once a human (Mathias Cronquist) and best friends with who initially used the vampire killer (Leon Belmont.) In SotN and especially Curse of Darkness, why doesn't Dracula acknowledge that he was originally human? I always think it's so damn hypocritcal, even though he became a vampire.

3. what was quincy morris's relationship to the belmonts? John Morris was born in Texas (I don't know if Jonathan was born in Europe or Texas), unless that was a translation mistake in Bloodlines, which PoR made it seem like a mistake, since eric's ghost was dressed like a Texan.

I kind of didn't quite catch all of the details in PoR.

Wily is not technically in the X series, making him impossible to fail in it. Also, Mega Man X9 is not even out. The series has stopped with X8 and they seem to be focusing on the MM Zero series.

by 9X i meant nine times. I've known there is no mega man X9. And there is a 9th in the regular mega man series with dr wily as the lead antagonist and it's nicknamed mega man 9, but it's real name is Mega Man and Bass for the GBA, and it was named something else for it's original release on the super famicom.

it does matter what contradicts what as far as I know, b/c games have been removed from the timeline, by the series producer himself. He knows everything about the series. Legends was removed, b/c of Lament of Innocence.
