The quests are amazing, but cant talk about the graphics yet beacuse I have a 2 year old computer and it didnt crank out as much as I would like too

With the high rez textures and most things cranked up it's very good looking and runs smoothly.

Looks like it has a ton of potential.

How does it fare in comparison to beta? A friend of mine was on beta for 2 months said it sucked. I'd like to think it doesn't suck and possibly give it a shot, even though Turbine has a BAD track record.

is it back now? I heard my friend screaming in the morning since he had bought the 199 lifetime subscription(always a bad idea with a new untested game)

Thats cause given Turbines track record, they are better off getting as much money as they can from you now. Asheron's Call 2 anyone?

I don't know about the rest of the earth, but on my client the news window said the server would be down for a few hours so I didn't scream about it.

I can't speak for the Euro servers (since they are handled completely separately in every way than the US ones), but it's been smooth over here so far.

Sorry, I've done my best to try and play this... got to level 9 and can't take any more...

My hunters bow hasn't left my back in about 4 hours... all I've done is walk round in circles looking for 10 wolves to kill ... the same as the 70 other players hanging round to do exactly the same thing.

Then I went for a walk down a long path with nothing to see or do and nothing to kill either...

Couldn't complete the quest I was doing once I got there cause the NPC wasn't actually drawn on my PC but was on the other people in my fellowship.

I vote WOW.

The graphics are great the first time you see them.. but after the 3rd forest of [insert name here]... 12th farm of [insert name here] and 100th identical building with no one to talk to/nothing to do... it kind of wears thin.

I don't think I could wander around for four hours and not kill anything if I tried. Where the hell were you?

I have three characters over 10 and have yet to ever run out of things to do. I wasn't aware it was even possible to be honest. Go mess around with some monster play if you get bored of quests. It's fairly amusing.

At the time, standing outside the wolves den just outside Combe... the problem is, cause its new, there are around 200+ other players in and around Combe.

Seriously, there was not a creature in sight because there were so many players/fellowships that as soon as something spawned it was tagged and killed instantly.

I have around 10-12 quests in my log book, but everywhere I go there are so many players with the same quest that it just drags out the kill 15 wolves from what should be 10 mins to around 30-40 mins at which point I'm bored of searching for them.

I will probably try it again in a few months or so when its calmed down.
